GoLIVE 10.03.09

GoLIVE 10:03:09 is a day that is going to change your life and the life of someone you haven’t met yet forever. The first saturday of every month 318LIVE will be going into the community with the mission of extending the love of our Savior to those who are in need. This October we will be working with the Providence House in Shreveport. We will serve lunch to the residence and spend time that afternoon encouraging the adults and playing games with the children. Providence House is a place for people who have fallen on hard times to find their way back onto their feet again. They are working hard to combat homelessness in our community and have seen incredible results through their programing. This will be an opportunity for you to step out of your world and allow God to use you to bring love and life into the wold of those who desperately need it. Providence House is a residential development center for homeless families with children, providing comprehensive support services for improving the family structure and moving the family into independent living to break the homeless cycle. The singular aim of the program is to break the cycle of homelessness by helping families gain the resources necessary to move permanently into independent living.
